The Great Word of God Church

The Great Word of God Church is a pentecostal organisation founded for the purpose of reaching and developing the three-fold nature of man: body, soul and spirit.

The Church was founded in 1987 under the able leadership of God Servant Bishop Kwaku Addei. It has its headquarter at Odupong-Ofaakor Bohye Asaseso, known as the "promise land", located 6km on the Kasoa-Bawjiase road in the Central Region of Ghana.

The church has 25 local branches all based in the rural communities in the country. The rural people are mostly rejected and forgotten. Upon this God place the burden on the founder and leader to give them the opportunity to know Christ through God`s word.

This commission has seen good and challenging times - but God has been faithful to his servant.God has used him to heal the sick, the oppressed and the broken hearted. He has preached the gospel to many and they has been set free.

Bishop Kwaku Addei

I was born in the Great Ashanti Region in a village called Kokofu Ayinam, where I had my upbringing and early education.

I had God`s calling and yielded to him in 1977 fully into the ministry and was ordained in 1987 first and later consecrated Bishop.

Notwithstanding, inspite of all challenges over the years, we have chosen to be obedient to our calling and faithful to our community which has kept us in this community of Ofaakor for such a number of years mentioned earlier.

The body of Christ is seeking for affiliation for means of promoting Gods kingdom in Ghana. We want to organize crusades, seminars and conferences with other pastors.

The church needs affiliation to enable the kingdom of our God reach the rural folks in the country.

We also need missionars to come and preach, host crusades, seminars, etc.
